We’re slinging YouTube Videos and helping making Internet memes. We’ve got people writing, designing and collaborating on projects from all over the U.S. to offer you the best. But you know what? WHAT WAS THE INTERNET LIKE BACK IN 2001?

Back when we first got started in May of 2001, the Dot Com Bubble was rapidly deflating. We were smart enough to wait until the Y2K panic had settled, but apparently we dove into the market at a tumultuous time nonetheless! Imagine… back then, AOL and Time Warner hadn’t even merged yet! YouTube didn’t exist for another 4 years! Facebook and Twitter were barely conceptualized… think about it: Mark Zuckerburg was only 17 years old when we first started designing small business websites! Wikipedia and Nuesion started the same year. In those days, people were using PDAs, not Smartphones. Only 58.5 percent of Americans even used the Internet one year after we began our enterprise. We were using Dial-Up servers, for crying out loud. That’s how old we are. Dinosaurs.

Here at Nuesion, we are really appreciative of making it this far. We’ve even outlasted the popularity of Justin Bieber (… wait, what? Its not over yet?) The Recession was kind to us, bringing more business than we expected, and we’ve been able to successfully adapt and remain relevant no matter how many new trends arise. Thinking back over the last 10 years, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved and the countless small businesses we’ve helped saddle up for the wild ride. We feel it’s important to keep track of milestones.
